Reduced to circles and lines, seemingly wild-growing rose bushes emerge from purely mathematical commands. This generative series, programmed in Processing, uses a recursive-tree algorithm to mimic the organic growth found in nature. Through delicate branching and randomized angles at each split, remarkably lifelike growth patterns emerge.

The opulent blossoms are composed entirely of circles. Through endless fine-tuning of the code and carefully curated color palettes—subtly enhanced by minor, random color variations—the rigid algorithmic structure begins to break. The result is a symbiosis of digital order and an organic formal language, which in turn creates a compelling dialogue with the implied, strict minimalism of the work.
